What is time tracking software?

Time tracking software is a digital tool that allows employees and freelancers to log their worked hours per project. PrikKlokPlus combines time registration, project management, Scrum planning, Gantt charts, CRM, and automatic invoicing in one tool — no Excel or separate timesheet forms needed.

How much does PrikKlokPlus cost?

PrikKlokPlus is free for the first user (Starter plan). The Standard plan costs €3.95 per user per month — including all features: time tracking, Scrum board, Gantt planning, CRM, and invoicing. No setup fees, no annual contract.

Does PrikKlokPlus work for freelancers?

Yes. Freelancers use PrikKlokPlus to track hours per project, send quotes, generate invoices, and substantiate the hours criterion for the Dutch Tax Authority. The Starter plan is permanently free for one user.

Is time tracking legally required in the Netherlands?

For freelancers, time tracking is not legally required, but the Dutch Tax Authority (Belastingdienst) requires you to meet the hours criterion (at least 1,225 hours per year) to claim the self-employment deduction. Reliable time registration is therefore essential.

How does PrikKlokPlus differ from Excel?

Can managers approve employee hours?

Yes. Employees submit hours with status "open". Managers see all time registrations per employee and project, and approve or reject them with one click. Approved hours become immediately billable via the CRM.

Does PrikKlokPlus have a Scrum board and sprint planning?

Yes. PrikKlokPlus includes a full Kanban/Scrum board per project with columns for backlog, in progress, review, and done. You can create sprints, assign tasks with story points, and track sprint progress via a velocity report.

What is the Gantt chart in PrikKlokPlus?

The Gantt chart displays all tasks of a project on a timeline. You can see at a glance which tasks are running, overlapping, or delayed. The Gantt view is directly linked to task statuses on the Scrum board.

Can I assign tasks to team members?

Yes. Each task can be assigned to a project member. You set a type (task, bug, feature), priority, deadline, and story points per task. Team members see their own tasks on the board and can update the status.

Does PrikKlokPlus have a built-in CRM?

Yes. The CRM in PrikKlokPlus manages your client relations, contacts, and notes. Projects are linked directly to a CRM relation, so all hours, invoices, and quotes per client are bundled in one place.

Can I create and send quotes from PrikKlokPlus?

Yes. Create a quote via CRM → Quotes, add line items with VAT rate, and send the quote by email as a PDF. Once the client agrees, convert the quote to an invoice with one click.

Can I send invoices from PrikKlokPlus?

Yes. PrikKlokPlus generates Dutch PDF invoices including your company name, VAT number, and payment details. Approved hours are automatically converted into invoice lines. Send the invoice by email; the client pays via a payment link (iDEAL, credit card, or SEPA).

Can I set up recurring invoices?

Yes. Via CRM → Recurring invoices you set an interval (monthly, quarterly, yearly) and a start date. PrikKlokPlus automatically creates the invoice on the scheduled date and sends it to the client.

Is PrikKlokPlus GDPR compliant?

Yes. PrikKlokPlus processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR. Data is stored on servers within the EU. You can export or delete your data at any time via your profile page. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available.
